Easter Craft Party at Greenbelt!

What a crafty Easter Sunday we had! Hey Kessy was part of the Greenbelt Easter Party, where kids and their parents spent their afternoon joining the Easter egg hunt and mini arts and crafts workshops.







We prepared a craft booth where they could decorate paper eggs with washi.They all loved it, and some of the parents got in on the action as well!

Later on in the day, the participant with the best designed egg received a special gift package from Hey Kessy :)

Sunprinting Workshop on April 27!

Summer is definitely here but going to the beach isn't the only way to enjoy the sun! If you're stuck in the city, why not go out and make sunprints instead. :) Our first Sunprinting Workshop is on April 27, 10am-1pm, in Katipunan, Quezon City.

We'll be making prints on postcards, tea towels, and tote bags! Fee is only P1850, inclusive of materials and snacks.

For sure after this workshop, the participants would love summer even more! :)

Postcard: Banana Business

It’s a well-known fact that monkeys love to eat bananas, but there’s another why they adore the fruit: it’s also a thriving business.

Take for example, paintings. As much as the primate population likes it for its taste, bananas are also food for their eyes. It’s a thing of beauty for them and they simply cannot get enough of it. So much so that they make art about it!

Yup, monkeys can be artistic as well. With opposable thumbs, mastering the paint brush is easy as (banana) pie. But, since not all have the skills of handling paint, some would have to settle for commissioning works from others. The artist is paid with enough bananas to make them fill their furry bellies.
