Last Sunday's washi launch was so special because finally, we now have Hey Kessy original washi designs! :) Yes, the washi tapes are designed by our resident graphic designer and illustrator, Paul Imbong. We worked really hard for these for months and now they're here!
To celebrate this, we had a Craft Gathering and Washi Workshop at Moonleaf where the participants decorated their 3D monograms with washi tapes and baker's twine.
We started with the introduction of Moonleaf's Craft Corner. They carry our products - washi tapes, baker's twines, and tote bags - as well as other handmade goodies from local crafters and artists.

After the participants had introduced themselves, they were given instructions and tips on how to decorate their monograms. They were free to use all the washi tapes they could see on their tables! :p
Everyone took a break and had milk tea and cupcakes, all provided for by Moonleaf! Thanks for making the event extra sweet!
Congratulations to Arriane, Macy, and Meghan for winning! Thanks to I TRY DIY for sponsoring the prizes, Moonleaf for collaborating with us, and to everyone who came and celebrated with us last Sunday!

PS Stay tuned for more original washi tape designs and other products as we collaborate with more Filipino artists, crafters, and designers :) If you want to collaborate with us, send us an email at contact@heykessy.com.
